This year is the 50th birthday of the Smurfs.
Growing up I loved these guys.
I had stuffed Smurfs I slept with and small plastic Smurfs I collected.
When I was 5 I was a Smurf for Halloween.
It was the best damn Halloween costume you have EVER seen.
My dad was really good at that sort of stuff.
I'll give him a call and see if he can send the photo so I can post it.
