Ok, really I bought a pre-seasoned pot roast from Trader Joes (cabernet pot roast) added some potatoes, carrots and onions to the crock-pot and let it go. I can't wait to get home tonight with the crisp fall air outside and the warm scent of slow cooking inside. I hope it turns out like this...

mmmmmm... that looks really yummy! I'm sure it will be! Isn't the crock pot one of the best kitchen tools around!? I don't use mine often enough.

So how did it turn out??? No matter how good my dishes are, they never, EVER look anything like the pictures. Sigh. :)
Well, it certainly did NOT look like the picture! It tasted pretty good though... I'll have to keep practicing I think ;-)
